All-

I visited the Allegan Co. property on 66th north of M89 this morning for
about 1 hour, and took a bunch of video of the large flock of white geese.
My summary of the counts, which were very difficult to do accurately, ended
up as follows based on the limited amount of time I've been able to try:

Snow Goose:
White adults: 24
White juveniles:20
White unknown age:1
Blue adult: 14
Blue juveniles; 17

Snow Goose X Ross's Goose:
Adult white: 27
Juvenile white: 5

Ross's Goose Blue morph- 1 adult, still working on this bird's ID and will
do a followup analysis once I've had more time to study my footage

Ross's Goose:
Adult white: 25
Juvenile white: 1

Unknown Ross's Goose type:
Adult white: 15

White goose of unknown species: 2

Total Ross's/Snow Goose count: 152

Identification of many of these individuals is complex and subjective, and
very difficult. I have only had about 1 hour to analyze my video, and the
clips of the full flock from which I arrived at these totals is here:

and my best clip of the dark morph Ross's type is here:

Good Birding,
