Hello All,
With the break in the heat, the birds seemed more active this morning.
Worm-eating Warbler was at the Pine Point picnic area parking lot. This is
on the east side of Swan Creek south of 118th. Enter from 44 th and take
the first right to the picnic area. Park in the first parking lot and look
in the area near the blue trash can. Also here were a pair of Hooded
Warblers, several Pine Warblers, and a singing male Cerulean Warbler. On
Swan Creek itself was a female Bufflehead.
Henslow's Sparrow was in the Todd Farm Unit southwest from 118th and 58th.
I stopped at the first parking area south on 58th and followed the song.
It was in the long green grass to the northwest from the parking lot.
Several Dickcissels and Grasshopper Sparrows along 117th east of 58th.
Good Briding,
