Munising's Yellow-billed Loon remained viewable today from 10 a.m. when I first  relocated the bird until I left at 3 p.m., when it was still being 
watched by Zach and Bill Gayk as well as J.D Phillips.  It spent this time 
interval swimming in Lake Superior northwest of  Munising Hospital.  This site can be reached by driving northeast out of Munising on H58 for very roughly 3/4 mile to Sand Point Road.  Turn west onto Sand Point Road and drive about half of a mile or a bit more.  Then turn left into the hospital parking lot.  The best viewing spot will be from the far left side of the lot near the white tank surrounded by cyclone fence that is next to the emergency room's garage door.   Scott
