[Mich-listers] Blue Grosbeak -- Cass County, continues, 21 June 2011

Hi-

I met some Cass County birders this morning (June 21) at the
RR crossing along Wells Street in Pokagon Twp. Bird was there singing
but unfortunately was only seen perched once, we were looking into the
light.


Johnson and I had great views of the bird last night (June 20), perched low and in good light.

Note:
PLEASE DO NOT PARK OR WALK ALONG RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY. The Amtrak
people were about 1 mile away today. If they see anyone on Amtrak
property, they will have you arrested. Except where the railroad
crosses the county road, all rr property is private, and posted No
Trespassing. The grosbeak will come into view for those waiting on the
county road.
