Mich-listers,

The first SNOWY OWL (immature) was in Huron County along the shores of
Eagle Bay. It can be accessed by parking at the DNR public access site at
the end of Wallace Road (about 2-3 miles east of Port Austin) and walking
out to the very end of the rocky point there. Other birds present were
Glaucous and Great black-backed Gulls and a few Tundra Swans.

A further 3 SNOWY OWLS (2 immature/1 adult) were found in Tuscola County at
the Fish Point State Wildlife Area. Two were in the game area proper at
the end of Ringle Road, while the other was found along Thomas Road
southwest of the game area.

Another SNOWY OWL (immature) was observed at Cass City and Garner Roads in
Tuscola County.

Good birding!
