[Mich-listers] Gyrfalcon-Rudyard, Chippewa County

Around 4:00 today there was a gray-morph Gyrfalcon on a telephone pole, around 0.5 mile south of the intersection of M-48 and South Hantz road, on South Hantz road.  The bird was briefly seen on a telephone pole west of South Hantz road, and then flew across South Hantz road to the east, towards Jarvie road.  Subsequent attempts to find the bird again until it got dark were unsuccessful.  It could still be around the area though.  I've posted a few terrible photos here:

Despite thorough searching for many hours between the Soo and Pickford, not a single owl was found.
