I am a little late in passing on this note from Jack Reinoehl but it
is still worth noting.

> HILLSDALE COUNTY BIRDING
>
> At noon on Thursday (4/21), both a White-winged Scoter
> (young male) and a Black Scoter (female) were present on Baw Beese
> Lake. The latter is my fifth record and first spring record in the
> county. Both were still present on Monday (4/25) evening in a
> group of scaup near the Sandy Beach area where the pavement ends on
> the road at the back side of the lake.
>
> Also on Thursday and Saturday, a flock of about 150
> Lapland Longspurs was south of Camden Road perhaps one-quarter mile
> east of Tuttle Road. It may be a half-mile to the E or W of this
> location as long as they stay around.
