Greetings,
I just spoke with Derek Lovitch and the White Wagtail continues at Pte Mouillee SGA in Monroe County. A sighting of the bird from a few hours ago was reported to Derek by another birder present and he was able to refind the bird around 2:30 pm. The early sighting was from the eastern dike of Cell 3 at the mudfalt in the middle of the unit. Derek had the bird along the western edge of Cell 3 near the area where the mudflat joins the water (this has consistently been one of the most reliable areas to find this bird). It appeared to be feeding around the dead carp.
For those who have not chased this bird yet and are considering going, it is a very long walk! Several people have commented to me and others on different listserves they were surprised how big the Mouillee is. An excellent website to visit before going is hosted by Bruce Bowman at the following link:

This site has a map, a checklist, and other miscellaneous information about the game area. If you have never been there before, it's worth a look.
Good Birding,
Brad Murphy
