Well I intended to not post for a few days and continue to fill up your inboxes but I had a few more birds worth mentioning again today so I'm at it once more. The definite highlight was a non-breeding Laughing Gull that made two quick passes of the point this morning but unfortunately never came in to roost or close enough for a picture. On my way home I stopped in at the harbor to see if I might get lucky and see the Laughing but instead there was an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull roosting, on the small wooden dock next to the parking area, with the Herrings and Ring-billeds. Add to that another (or perhaps a continuing) juvenile Sabine's Gull and 4 jaegers (2 Parasitics and 2 unknowns) and the gull/jaeger show wasn't too shabby when all totaled today.

The overall movement was held up pretty well by the strong E/SE winds all day long but the first 2 Long-tailed Ducks of the season and an increased number of scoters and Red-throated Loons over previous days were nice consolations.
