[Mich-listers] Berrien Frigatebird refound ~3PM, Sep 20

All-

Rick Brigham informed me that at around 3PM the bird was refound from the north pier, seen in flight to the north, somewhere near Jean Klock Park. The birders who refound it were standing on the north pier at the time. As of 4PM I have not heard any further information.

And yet another update from Caleb Putnam,

After remaining perched for several hours, the bird took to the air at 1:20 caught a fish in the channel, flew around for 1/2 hour, and headed off to the northeast, possibly overland, Caleb sez' they watched it until it disappeared. As of 1:55 PM the bird has not returned.

As of 10:23 the bird is sitting on the small lighthouse at the very end of the north pier at Tiscornia on top of a solar panel as observed by Rick Brigram fide Caleb Putnam (whos is undoubtedly breaking speeding laws at this second....)



Apparently the bird has been sitting on this lighthouse for over an hour now and the bird has a red gular patch.

All the news I have so far.....
