[Mich-listers] Mountain Bluebird- Chippewa County 11/17

Howdy folks,

Well Chippewa County seems to be rocking with good birds right now!

Steve Baker found and photographed today a female MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD in
eastern Chippewa County near the village of Pickford.

Here are his directions:

I do not know the road name but here is the approximate location: From
Rudyard, east on M-48 , south on McCabe to Townline. East on Townline
2-3 miles, then south on a gravel road surrounded by open fields.
About 1/4 mile  in there is a slight hill with an old funky mobile
home on the right and a lone gnarly oak on the left. The oak is near
the road and the field has recently been plowed. The bluebird was
perching in the oak, on the ground, and in the willows in the ditch.
