With the incursion of Franklin's Gulls reported in the state
yesterday, I went looking for them in SE Michigan. I found one at
Sterling State Park in Monroe County. That bird was at the south end
of the large lagoon west of the pavilion, resting with a large group
of Ring-billed Gulls. The two Cattle Egrets remain in Sterling State
Park. I had them a couple feet from my car at the entrance to the
campground.

Walt Pawloski and I found another Franklin's Gull in Wayne County
(barely) at the mouth of the Huron River at the small park on
W.Jefferson. Across the road, on the flats along Harbin Road, there
were approximately 235 Dunlin today.
