[Mich-listers] Pacific Loon, Emmet County (Harbor Springs)

Dear birders,

An adult winter plumage Pacific Loon has been in Little Traverse Bay (Emmet County, Harbor Springs) for more than a week.  (Sorry for the late posting, but I've been out of town.)  
I have observed the loon 5 times since Nov. 4, including yesterday Nov. 12.   The loon is best seen from the road along the shore in Wequetonsing (near the eastern city limit of Harbor Springs), and from the Josephine Ford park / boat launch in Harbor Springs. The bird spends a lot of time swimming (and diving) between Harbor Point and approx. 200 yards out from the Wequetonsing dock.  I have seen the loon with my binoculars, but a spotting scope was necessary to confirm the ID.   I finally got a decent picture of it yesterday in calm water. 
This is my first Pacific Loon in Michigan.
