Mich-listers Berrien Co. Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow continues, 31 May 09

Greetings,

Some further info....When I was last on the Nelson's Sharp-tailed it was on
its way across the small side channel where it went down into some
additional favorable habitat, but the best still seems to be around the
barrel. I took the liberty of setting the barrel upright so it is more
visible in the tall grass. A scope is advisable as the bird never let me get
closer to it than 40 feet.

I bumped into Scott Jennex, Will Weber, Dianne Freeman and Steve Santner who
were on their way to search for the bird on foot. I will be interseted in
the results of their endeavor. They also mentioned that they had the Fish
Crow at Forest Lawn Landfill.
