Today I went to Oakwoods Metro Park searching for Cerulean Warblers and was not disappointed. I found one calling NW of the Railroad bridge along the mosquito infested muddy horse trail the goes along the river starting at the grassy opening at the river. Fortunately the spot where I heard it is marked with a fallen tree across the trail. The tree is shaped like a big fork. You can't miss it.
I also had a Mourning Warbler along the river east of the fishing area. The bird was near the picnic table that is partial in the water on the river bank before you turn the bend into the woods that leads along the Prothontory habitat section. Look for a 'hunting' sign.
I also had a Grasshopper Sparrow at Willow rd and Otter. The bird was in the field next to Bush & Sons landscaping in a none built subdivision street.
