Fish Crow, Berrien Co. 25 May 2009

As Kip Miller indicated, today 25 May 2009 between 7AM and 4:10PM I encountered the Berrien County Fish Crow 5 times along the west and south boundaries of the Forest Lawn Landfill. The bird appeared to be doing a circuit from the dump (usually out of view near some kind of large equipment) and a roost to the south and east of the landfill. 30-40 American Crows were also doing this circuit. If this behavior pattern continues, best viewing is likely from the south end of the dump along Martin Rd where you park your car.
