Doug Jackson just called (05/21 @ 4:45PM) to report a *White-faced Ibis* at
Fish Point, Tuscola County. Don Schmuck, refuge biologist, had emailed Doug
earlier in the afternoon and Doug is at there right now, photographing the
bird as I type. (Photos from Doug will be on the Saginaw Bay
Birding<http://www.saginawbaybirding.org/>website as soon as I get
them.) The ibis is located a quarter mile north of
the observation tower on Ringle Rd on the east side. Doug said the bird was
feeding within 100' of him alongside the road in pressed down cattails.
Doug also said Myles Willard & Dan Duso observed a *Ferruginous Hawk* in the
vicinity of the observation tower (also this afternoon) but I don't have
that yet confirmed. I'll relay that information as it becomes available.
Good birding!
