Highlights of today’s birding here in Allegan
Co:

2 Greater White-fronted Geese north side of 118th Ave.
between 58th and 59th St.
8 Greater White-fronted Geese at south east
corner of 62nd St. and 126th Ave.
18 Greater White-fronted Geese at
Morrison Bayou of the Kalamazoo River
362 Sandhill Crane at same
locale
1 Snow Goose at Newport Harbor on the Kazoo
1 imm. Golden
Eagle sparring with an imm. Bald Eagle over 116th Ave. at 60th St.

calling and cavorting Long-tailed Duck at Douglas Public Beach

White-winged Scoter at same locale
2 Red-throated Loon sitting on
lake beyond ice shelf at Oval Beach
8 Great Black-backed Gull sitting
on ice flows at mouth of the Kazoo

The large flock of Snow
Geese with possible Ross’s was reported by several observers being
seen early morning and late in the day at the same place as yesterday
(fields north of 116th Ave. between 62nd St. and 60th St.). Now if I could
only be everywhere at once!
