Hoary Redpolls - Ionia Co 3-6-9

Saturday, Robert Epstein and I saw three different Hoary Redpolls at Kevin  
Thomas's feeders at the previously posted location on Sunfield Road between  
Reeder and Tuttle Roads in Ionia County. One of them is the classic super  white 
bird. There were easily 150 Common Redpolls around the yard and a few  Purple 
Finches as well.
 
 Also in Ionia we turned up 5 White-winged Crossbills and a few Pine  Siskins 
in a row of Spruce trees right on Dildine Rd west of Marquette. This is  a 
half mile west of M-66 just north of the town of Ionia.
 
Toward the end of the day we had a Peregrine Falcon streak over the  
waterfowl and gulls in the small open water at the northeast end of Jordan Lake  in 
the town of Lake Odessa.
