Regarding WWCR Reports

The recent rash of WWCR reports to mich-listers seems to contradict
what my understanding of the use of the list-serv is, reporting of
rare (i.e. casual/accidental) birds for the entire state of Michigan.
WWCR hardly seems to fit this category, since they are regular
visitants throughout much of the Upper Peninsula on a nearly annual
basis.

Perhaps these reports are better suited for a more local listserv to
the area of the sighting?
