FWD: Snowy Owl, 1/15/09, Isabella County

"At 11:30 a.m., January 15, a Snowy Owl was located in 
Isabella County on Nottawa Road, about .2 mile north of 
Rosebush Road. The bird was initially seen sitting atop a 
telephone pole on the west side of Nottawa Road but later 
flew across the road, where it landed on one of the large 
hay bales at the farm NW of the intersection."

Also, I've been told a SNOWY OWL was seen last Sunday along 
US-127 at Ithaca in Gratiot County.
