Harlequin Duck, Mason Co.

Dave Dister found a male Harlequin Duck yesterday on the Ludington CBC.  The bird was in the harbor between the two piers.  It was finally a wonderfull day to have a CBC after the bitter cold of the Benzie Count and the icy train wreck of the Manistee count.

Also White-winged Crossbills seem to be very common here also as in almost every spot in Michigan.
