Bill Fox sent me a map showing locations where the Snowy Owl has been
seen in Lenawee County about seven miles west of Dundee. The map was in
Microsoft Streets and Trips format. Keith Miller has converted the .est
file to .jpg and .pdf for me. Thanks, Keith. Anyone who wants these
files (small) can email me.
I'm not sure if this post is appropriate at mich-listers. Sorry, if not.

<<Map.est>> The thumb tacks are the locations he landed along those
drainage ditches. After I spoke to you yesterday the owner of the farm
came out to see what I was doing, so I pointed out the owl to him. I will
try to find a good telephoto lens camera to use.

The Snowy Owl is reported again this morning in the same area. It is
sitting on the bank above a drainage ditch at the intersection of Sutton
Rd. and Rixom Rd., which is about 1 1/2 miles from the 11432 Holloway Rd.
address according to Mapquest. If you don't find the bird there, driving
the one-mile square bounded by Holloway, Rixom, Sutton, and Hoagland
might
be a good approach.
