Snowy Owl reported in Lenawee County

I had a call this evening from Bill Fox in Jackson County who wanted to 
report a Snowy Owl.  He saw it today (Wednesday) about 7 1/2 miles west 
of Dundee.  He tried for a photo with his cell phone, but the bird flew 
off before he could get it.  The owl was sitting on a log or branch in a 
drainage ditch at 11432 Holloway Road (Deerfield, MI).  Bill said there 
are some barns and a deserted house nearby.  The roofs of those buildings 
would be good places to look for it, as well as on posts and poles.

This location--11432 Holloway Rd., Deerfield, Lenawee County--is 

* 30 miles south of Ann Arbor off US 23
* 7 1/2 miles west of Dundee
* 11 miles ESE of Tecumseh
* 8 miles NW of the Petersburg State Game Area

I've gotten some jpeg maps from Mapquest that I can email to anyone who 
wants them.
