Berrien County - Smith's Longspurs, etc

Hello-

I just received a phone call from Allen Chartier who wold me he & others found a flock of at least 30+ SMITH'S LONGSPURS along Buffalo Road in Berrien County today (April 29, 2009).

Also noted were about 95 AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVERS near the Longspur site.

I have not heard of any additional reports of yesterdays CATTLE EGRETS.

A SUMMER TANAGER was reported seen April 28th at a residence near Three Oaks.

YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER and NORTHERN PARULA are back on territory along Forest Lawn Road, bewteen Basswood Road and Maudlin Road.
