White-faced Ibis - LEMP 4/25

Good evening,

Following up on Daryl's post, yes, the Ibis at Lake Erie Metropark is a White-faced Ibis, not a Glossy.  Walt Pawloski and I gave it a triple check and all marks are consistent with White-faced Ibis.  

Unfortunately, at 7:01pm, the bird bolted and flew south. At 7:04pm, Scott Jennex arrived.  We checked the south end of the park but could not relocate it. He also agrees with the White-faced Ibis call (he viewed my pics).  I will try to get some images up on my blog (http://birdsbrewsandblither.blogspot.com/) in the next 24 hours or so.  

Interestingly enough, LEMP hosted the Glossy/ White-faced Ibis duo on April 24th, 1996....
