Listers,

While County listing in Calhoun on Sunday afternoon, Robert Epstein and I
located two adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS in a field with a mixed group
of about 50 Herring & Ring-billed Gulls on 19 1/2 Mile Rd across from the
house at 21481. Both birds were in shiny alternate plumage. On the way home
around 4:00 pm we saw a flyby flock of 4 CATTLE EGRETS in western Jackson
County while traveling on I-94. They were West of the Rest Area on the South
side of the freeway roughly near mile 136. We had a VERY tiny Ross's/Snow
Goose fly over to the North in the early morning with 100 or so Canada's but
they showed no hint of stopping and we did not try to chase - this was
also in Jackson County.

Good Listing,

Scott Jennex
Ferndale
