Alger Co. Smith's Longspur Persists

Bill Hurst as well as Mark and Joanie Hubinger were able to view both of the previously reported Smith's Longspurs early this afternoon.  Skye Haas, Danny McConnell, Dave Pavlik, and Ryne Rutherford also observed the two birds late this afternoon.  The more brightly colored bird I reported this morning was seen only briefly by each group, but the "duller" bird was seen well and photographed this afternoon.  Scott Hickman
