Swallow-tailed Kite- Van Buren County, Aep 1

Hello,

I just received word via email from Kevin Haight that his mother a SWALLOW-TAILED KITE was seen on September 1st near the intersection of of 48th Avenue and 60th streets in VAN BUREN COUNTY. This is between the towns of Hartford and Bangor. I'm not sure of the township at this point (I don't have a good map with me). According to DeLorme Map, 48th Ave is also called County Road 673.

This is not far (less than 10 miles) from the location of another report of the same species, seen on August 21, 2008 near Covert, VAN BUREN COUNTY.
