Keren Tischler and I was sent a photo last night of a loon picked up along a road in Ottawa National Forest (yesterday I believe) in Gogebic Co. and released nearby in Langford Lake. The loon looks to me like a Pacific/Arctic type in basic or subadult plumage. Worth a look if you are in the area. - Joe Kaplan
