Hello:
A very obliging Purple Sandpiper spent the day on the proximal south side of
the south breakwall in Muskegon(where the fisherman hangout). Between the
blizzard conditions and the gale force winds conditions were "interesting".
A Sanderling joined it for the afternoon. A Lapland Longspur was also
present with a few Pipits.
A single Ross's Goose was first seen at the Mukegon Wastwater Plant in the
south-east lagoon and was spotted again later in the fields on Swanson Rd.
south of Apple Rd. and before Laketon Rd.- where a large number of geese and
gulls were congregated.
