Franklin's Gulls (2), Big Portage Lake, Washtenaw County, 11/12/08

Folks,
Per Mike Sefton, at 7:25 a.m. Sean Bachman found two Franklin's Gulls in a large mixed flock of Ring-billed and Bonaparte's Gulls on Big Portage Lake in northern Washtenaw County. Shortly afterwards at 7:30, the entire flock took off for places unknown, likely to the east of Big Portage Lake. Mike indicated he and Don Chalfant will be scouring lakes in the area and report on their success. Stay tuned,
