Red-n Grebe, Red-th Loon, Lesser B-b Gull Allegan Co. 11-11-08

Greetings,

Highlights from a quick early morning lake
watch from Douglas Public Beach today were two Red-necked Grebe, one juvi
Red-throated Loon and one adult Lesser Black-backed Gull. The grebes and
loon were on the water just north of DPB, while the gull landed on shore
here.

Last evening approx. 500 distant Long-tailed Duck
performing typical haphazard flight behavior were viewed from this same
venue.
