Greetings,
There were 12 Franklin's Gull found in
Allegan Co. today.
An individual was on the mud flats with
Bonaparte's and Ring-billed in the middle of Wade's Bayou in Douglas this
morning. Best viewing is from the city park at the east end of Center
St.
Eleven birds were present this afternoon at the same
location noted yesterday by Steve Minard. This is in the field at the
southeast corner of 128th Ave. and 62nd St. Some would occasionally fly to
the fields west of 62nd. These are visible from 127th Ave. looking
north.
Also, in the midst of thousands of Canada Geese at the
Todd Farms in the Allegan State Game Area were 4 Snow Geese (3 blue) and 5
Cackling Geese. The flocks were concentrated between the farm unit
headquarters buildings (east of 62nd St.) and 59th St. along 118th Ave.
Good birding,
Rick Brigham
Douglas
