Wayne County Franklins Gull 11/08/08

Walter reported seeing a Franklin's Gull on the sandbar off the headquarters area of Point Moo. He relocated it several times when the birds flew back and forth. He said it was hard to see in the multitude of gulls but the mostly dark hood made it stand out. With the west winds from today expected to continue there should be ample mud again tomorrow.

On a side note I saw 13 snipe yeterday in Canton.
