Ottawa County Snowy Owl

While checking Holland State Park this morning for water birds, we found 
a SNOWY OWL on a small dune at the north end of the state park beach 
about 9:30 AM. It stayed at that spot for at least 45 minutes, until we 
moved on. Holland State Park is west of Holland, at the end of Ottawa 
Beach Road.

We also had a female/juvenile Northern Harrier cruising down the beach, 
and this afternoon, two Bald Eagles in Grand Haven, at the Harbor Island 
boat launch.
