White-winged Crossbills- Midland County

We were quite surprised to see 12 White-winged Crossbills on our property today, Nov. 1st, in Larkin Township, Midland County. The nice mix of males and females were feeding in a Blue Spruce for approximately 10-minutes before heading north. They then returned briefly, but did not stay around quite as long.
