Birders,
After returning this afternoon from a week in Florida I took a run down to
Pt. Mouillee and found (3) WHIMBREL in Cell 3. They were far back on the
mud spit and stayed together. I managed some digiscoped images and will
post them to my blog when I get the chance.
On a sad note, I found the carcass of the dark-phased Rough-legged Hawk I
photographed earlier this month along the Middle Causeway just below the
tower where I originally found it. The bird must've been ill, which would
explain why it was still in the vicinity.
I'll post a more complete report on my blog in a day or so.
