Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow, Monroe Co., 26 May 08

Listers-

At 8:30 AM, 26 May 08, Adam Byrne and Brad Murphy found a Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow at Pointe Mouillee State Game Area.  The bird has not been seen since the initial sighting despite several attempts, so it is probably a "needle in a haystack" kind of search.  Adam reports the odds of refinding it are probably close to nil.

But in the event you want to search for it, it was seen at the boundary of cell 1 and cell 2, at the east end of the dike separating these two cells, in a patch of Phragmites.  That is all the information I have at this time.
