Orchard Oriole, Whitefish Point 5/24

An adult male Orchard Oriole was found behind the gift shop at approx  12:00. 
It was last seen flying towards the lakeshore. Spring finally arrived and  it 
was a very productive day all around, particularly for warblers. I'll try to  
get a photo of the Oriole (not a very good one), and a summary of the days  
activity up on the WPBO sightings blog if there's a break in the owl  banding 
tonight. The owls have remained steady, although the nightly captures  are 
lower this time of year, and we broke 1,100 owls banded for the  season.
