ibis not found, 5/7, Allegan

Greetings,

After nice looks at the cormorant in Grand Haven (thanx Brad!), I thought lifer ibis would be nice too.  No such luck.  I looked from all possible overlooks along 130th on the south side of the K-zoo river between the north end of 64th (which is a residential neighborhood that has two dead ends into the water) and east of the north end of 62nd which is the marina mentioned by Chip; which is closed.  

The north end of 63rd is a boat launch and Jer and I canoed the river this evening from about even with the end of 62nd to the east and near the end of 64th to the west.  We found no ibis.  (Got to watch an Osprey do it's thing for quite a while - very nice.)  

I would be very interested in knowing where the beautiful photos were taken from.  The birds were in flight in the photos; were they observed to have landed anywhere? 

Obviously, please post if anything new is found.
