Neotropic Cormorant still present, Ottawa Co., 7 May 2008

Greetings,

Brad Murphy just called to report that the Neotropic Cormorant was 
feeding off the south pier at Grand Haven, Ottawa County this 
morning.  Apparently there is a lot of chop on the lake, making it 
very difficult to find the bird.  The bird continues to spend more 
time under water than at the surface, so patience may be required 
when looking for this bird given the water conditions.
