May 2 - Berrien County

Greetings,

I visited the wet area just southeast of the intersection of US-12 and Avery Road (between Three Oaks and Galien) at about 8:30 p.m. this evening. The Marbled Godwit remained present, but the dowitchers were not. However, a Wilson's Phalarope was present. A location clearly worth keeping an eye on in the days to come....

Good birding,

Kip Miller
