Listers -

I was doing a bit of county birding in Shiawassee Co this morning with Pat
Deventer, looking for decent waterfowl sites to fill in a few ticks.

The Byron Millpond had the greatest variety of birds and would have good
afternoon/evening views from the cemetary

Aginaw Lake, just to the west, might be good when it finally thaws.

Shiawassee Pond at Shiawassee Town also had waterfowl including 4 Greater
White-fronted Goose loafing on the banks opposite the park. This site is just
off I-69, four miles west of Durand (DeLorme pg 40, A1).

The greatest variety of birds we had this morning was on Park Lake in Clinton
Co. (pg 39, B5).
