BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS, BRUCE TWP, MACOMB COUNTY

  22 Bohemian Waxwings, 45 Cedar Waxwings, 20 Starlings and one Robin were feeding on crab apple fruit between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM at 2200 Taft Road.  This location is in section 30 of Bruce Twp, Macomb County, at about one-tenth of a mile to the east of Dequindre Road.  The tree stands on the roadside in front of a solitary house.  It is heavy with fruit and the ground beneath is covered with fallen pomes.
