 Hi,
As Caleb posted, I had a adult breeding Brown Pelican fly north past
Tiscornia Park, this morning around 9:15. The Pelican was only about 200
meters offshore, and about 20 meters off the water. With the strong tailwind
the Pelican was really cruising north and mostly gliding, I only saw it flap
5-6 times while it was in view.

At the rate it was moving I would suggest checking the beaches to the
north of St. Joe, such as around Holland, Grand Haven and Muskegon.

 Good Birding,
    Tim Baerwald
