(2nd hand) Brown Pelican, Berrien Co, 15 Jun 2008

Hi All-
 
Tim Baerwald called to report that at 9:15 AM he had a Brown Pelican cruising north past Tiscornia Beach in St. Joesph, Berrien Co., today, Sunday 15 Jun 2008.  It did not stop and was flying rapidly.  This is perhaps the same bird that was reported in Wisconsin and Illinois a few days ago.  Hopefully it will remain in our area of the lake, and hopefully others can relocate it.
