Correction Tropical or Couch's Kingbird Correction 6/11/08 today!

Subject: Monroe County Tropical or Couch's Kingbird 6/11/08

 

I just received a call from Walter Polowski. He reports that there is a
Tropical or Couch's Kingbird in Monroe County. It was seen for an hour
between 12:30-1:30 feeding along the road at 2355 Newburgh rd. This is
between Briar Hill and Port Creek rd there is a small road called
Anabell rd. That marks the area of the bird. It was feeding from the
same telephone wires west of 2355 Newburgh. Sometimes it fed from some
small evergreens. It was chased away once onto Anabell rd by a Blackbird
but returned to the same wires shortly thereafter. Sounds like it might
be hanging around today.
