There are two convenient locations to try for Kentucky Warbler
at present:
1. On Pittsford Rd. one-half mile south of Skuse Rd. park
at the parking lot at the top of the hill on the east,
listen for a bird quite close to the road to the west. It was
first detected there on 5/9. If the bird is not there, continue
south to the bottom of the hill and look for a well-marked
trail going to the west; the bird has been in this area at
least once.
2. From Pittsford, go west on Skuse about one & two-thirds
miles (a distance west of the parking lot giving access to
the usual spot for the birds in recent years). There was a
bird singing today (not previously detected) near the
'no hunting' sign."
