Birders,
I just wanted to make a quick note after checking with Ric Pedler (who
followed up with some "old-timers") that the aforementioned Northern
Bobwhites at Muskegon Wastewater Management System were likely released
gaming birds.  A word of warning came from Brian A in Manistee County, who
said that Bobwhites had been released for hunting at Ionnia State
Recreation.  Brian Johnson and Feller Dewitt also confirmed that the
Bobwhites were likely escapees or released birds.  Best birding be with
